Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? aka Blade Runner introduces Rick Deckard, a bounty hunter who is tasked with bringing in androids. I rate this a 5/5.

Plot: You need to round up some androids. The trouble is, there’s no way to distinguish an android from a human. Or is there?

Craft: The writing is strong. Nice use of description and dialogue. Strong plot.

Technology: Not so much. The biggest thing is that androids have progressed to the point where they are nearly impossible to spot – and lethal when they’re annoyed.

Characters: The characters drive this story. They form a unique cast.

Cultural References: The urge for pets is as strong as it is today. Only problem is, the pets are not quite alive.

Bottom Line: There is one scene where androids interact with humans that still haunts me.
